Rant.
I really hate it when people are like ” so how long have you been edge?”. It’s not even because some of the people who are edge are under the age of 18 and can’t even be doing things like that anyway ( legally). It’s more like asking someone, ” so how long have you been human?” You are BORN not drinking not doing drugs, everything that they do, you are born that way. Why do you have to put some special label on it? I can understand if someone is like ” so how long have you been a coke head?” because that’s something that makes you a little different then human, but when you don’t do anything different from when you were born, you don’t get a label.
Also, 90% of “straight edge” kids aren’t even really straight edge. In the 80’s, when it was the coolest thing to be, it meant you also DON’T drink caffeine. Which means, no soda, no coffee, stuff like that. So, I suggest before you go out and get your Straight Edge tattoo, rethink about what you’re doing a little bit. =]
